Leveraging SoFi as an Evangelical Tool
“A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit,
neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.”
-Matthew 7:18
““Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them
will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.
And the rain fell, and the floods came,
and the winds blew and beat on that house,
but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock”
-Matthew 7:24-25
There are principles that stand true in Nature,
in the Social Realms, and yes, even in business.
One of those principles is hi-lighted by the Greatest Teacher in Existence, “Raboni,” Yeshua King Jesus, through his parable of the sower:
“Then He spoke many things to them in parables, saying:
“Behold, a sower went out to sow.
And as he sowed, some seed fell by the wayside;
and the birds came and devoured them.
Some fell on stony places, where they did not have much earth; and they immediately sprang up because they had no depth of earth.
But when the sun was up they were scorched, and because they had no root they withered away.
And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up and choked them.
But others fell on good ground and yielded a crop: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”
-Matthew 13:3-9
My biggest take away from this parable, is that there is no emotional investment required to bring the results.
The results are explicitly connected with two factors:
1. The sower sowing his seed
2. The condition of the soil the seeds are falling on.
Now of course, we want to be conscience of the good tree,
good fruit, principle, as well.
Which to me, comes back to:
“A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches,
and loving favour rather than silver and gold.”
-Proverbs 22:1
If we’ve burned people in the past, does our name and reputation escape that flame, unscathed?
I think not.
Therefore, who would trust us, holding a 2-star rating on google?
Success cannot be summed up in one principle alone,
but if it were, I could see it summed up in this one:
“Now Jesus was telling the disciples a parable to make the point that at all times they ought to pray and not give up and lose heart, saying,
“In a certain city there was a judge who did not fear God and had no respect for man.
There was a [desperate] widow in that city and she kept coming to him and saying,
‘Give me justice and legal protection from my adversary.’
For a time he would not; but later he said to himself,
‘Even though I do not fear God nor respect man, yet because this widow continues to bother me, I will give her justice and legal protection; otherwise by continually coming she [will be an intolerable annoyance and she] will wear me out.’”
Then the Lord said,
“Listen to what the unjust judge says!
And will not [our just] God defend and avenge His elect [His chosen ones] who cry out to Him day and night?
Will He delay [in providing justice] on their behalf?
I tell you that He will defend and avenge them quickly.
However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find [this kind of persistent] faith on the earth?”
-Luke 18:1-8
Faith & Persistence are π π
We’re going to face all types of obstacles, dangers, delays, resistance and disappointments…
But if we’re merely persistent, we'll soon discover, light is at the end of the tunnel.
I recall Colonel Sanders of KFC π
A great story of persistence.
Here he was at the age of 65 when he borrowed $87 from the bank to purchase a fryer and ingredients for his unique recipe.
He traveled all over the country to sell his recipe to restaurants.
Selling door to door, he got rejected 1009 times, but the 1010th restaurant accepted his offer, leading to the birth of KFC.
When most sane people would have gave up, he persisted until he succeeded!
Now, here we are, 30,000 restaurants later, in over 145 countries and territories around the world.
So, brothers and sisters:
“Whatever you do [whatever your task may be], work from the soul [that is, put in your very best effort], as [something done] for the Lord and not for men” - Colossians 3:23
Have you discovered what you want out of life?
More freedom, More Money, More Respect, More Time?
“Ask, and it shall be given you;
Seek, and ye shall find;
Knock, and it shall be opened unto you”
-Matthew 7:7
Gimme more Jesus and I have found Life
“For whoever desires to save his life will lose it,
but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.”
-Matthew 18:25
“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?”
-Mark 8:16

Is a 4.3% APY interest rate good?
"While the average savings rate is 0.46%, the best high-yield savings accounts offer an APY ranging from 4.25% to 5.26%.
The best rates for savings accounts typically come from online-only banks. An online bank can offer higher rates since it doesn't have the same costs as brick-and-mortar banks."
